It's about pausing and training our mind to be more present, less distracted. To be able to get rid of thoughts and distractions. But not only about training our mind to be more present, but olso about changing the way we relate to our experiences, changing our perspective, beein less critical about ourself, and those around us, and when we do that we feel less stress.
Techniques
Mindfulness
Mindfulness meditation is a type of meditation where you focus on being fully present in the moment — aware of your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surroundings — without judging or trying to change them.
Key elements: Attention: You typically focus on your breath, bodily sensations, or sounds.
Awareness: You notice when your mind wanders and gently bring it back.
Non-judgment: You observe thoughts and emotions without labeling them as good or bad.
